CREAMY PEPPER SAUCE FOR A SCOTCH FILLET STEAK

 Welcome to my Blog,in this blog we're gonna be cooking a beautiful pepper sauce for your choice of steak this sauce is rich creamy  but doesn't overwhelm the beautiful taste of the steak.

A STEAK CLASSIC, this creamy pepper sauce with juicy steak is a match made in heaven.A creamy pepper sauce made with brandy or cognac,beef broth,And cream.

How I do like my steak.you ask( ok maybe you didn't but just humour me..)? Rare to medium rare and covers with sauce, is the answer.I LIVE steak.juicy,a little  charred and just cooked .but if there's not a sauce on my steak,forget about it.i need a little lick of seasoned butter,a reduction of sorts or a creamy sauce to pull it all together for me.and this PEPPER SAUCE RECIPE FOR STEAK is just perfect.

                              


The joy about this easy pepper sauce is that it literally takes no more than 20 minutes to make.i don't add any flour/corn starch to the sauce and allow the sauce to reduce to thicken simply because it's less faff and make it GLUTEN FREE/LOW CARB as well.

HOW TO MAKE PEPPER SAUCE

They key to getting the most"pepperiness" from your peppercorn sauce is to toast the pepper gently with the onion and garlic before adding cream.just don't take a deep whiff because you will sneeze for days(believe me.i learned the hard way).

Fresh thyme,bay and a squeeze of lemon add all the right flavours and you are done.its the kind of sauce I could eat by the spoon.and I do often.its just SO good!



HOW TO COOK STEAK

The beautiful taste of the steak to start you need to finely dice one shallot,two cloves of garlic.

Next you'll need your choice of steak,I like fantastics scotch filler seasoned with salt and pepper on all sides of place a pan over high heat once.its really nice and hot add some oil,I'm using canola oil as it has a high smoking point place the steak in the center of the pan for a steak this thick cook it for three minutes on each side for medium-rare see the steak on all sides before removing it from the pan,place has taken a plate and tint with foil.


In the end,you can choose to add next to your steak ,reverse sear potatoes or sauteed potatoes and any other veggies that you like.try to be flexible and adapt your steak sauce with any sauteed grilled veggies that you love eating.
